The Clarinda
Economic Development Corporation is offering a
square deal to businesses wanting to operate
downtown. CEDC Executive Director Chad
Wellhausen has announced the creation of the
Downtown Revitalization Plan.
The plan is focused on attracting and growing
business in the downtown/square area of
Clarinda. Incentives include financial,
technical and mentoring assistance for
businesses looking to locate on the square.
“The purpose of the plan is to provide start up
incentives and assistance that will help new
businesses work through the many challenges of a
new business, not only financially, but also by
providing resources such as mentoring and
technical assistance.”
